Todd earned a Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Tax Law from Emory University in 1993, is a Board Certified Expert in Estate Planning and Administration, is an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. Todd has given numerous presentations to attorneys, CPA’s, financial advisors and the public including at Money Watch Live, National Business Institute, Louisiana CPA Society, AICPA, Tulane Estate Planning Institute, the LSU Annual Estate Planning Seminar, NAIFA and has been qualified by the Louisiana Department of Insurance to present continuing education programs discussing various tax and estate planning topics. Todd has been named in Louisiana Super Lawyer, is recognized by his peers with an A/V-Preeminent rating, which is the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and professionalism and was named one of the top 100 estate planning attorneys in the country by Worth magazine.
Todd was born in New Orleans, graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1984, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Orleans in 1988, his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University in 1992, and his L.L.M. in Taxation from Emory University in 1993. Todd enjoys spending time with his daughters, the Saints and Dolphins, Montana, sailing, photography and traveling.
